1 Product, 10 Ideas: Idea 4 – Grow-a-Word-Family Flower Activity In the center of the flower, write a word family. Tape a strip of green construction paper to the back of a Poppin’ Patterns Flower and attach leaves that have words from that word family written on them. Display the flowers on a “Grow-A-Word-Family” bulletin board. We took the Poppin’ Patterns Spring Flower 6-inch Designer Cutouts and came up with 10 different ways that you could use them in the classroom. This is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! I love using flower themes in the spring, and with kindergarten, sight words are popping up all over! Thanks for another great idea!

This is such a cute idea! I love having flowers in the room in the Spring and these are so much more pleasing than a simple chart listing word families.

This is a grat idea!!!!!! I’m using it with word families, parts of speech, multiplication facts and anything else. We’ll make it a class project!!!!!!!!!!
