I would use those baskets for storing quiet table activities or fill each up with books for the table to be used before lunch and after nap- I’d rotate the baskets each day to keep the children interested (although they love to read the same books all the time!)

I will use them to reorganize my classroom. I am moving classrooms for the third year in a row!

Definitely a great addition to my library – perhaps we need to have the “royal choices” section! :O)

I love these book baskets! I have some already, but need more to organize my books. I love the colors and would use them to sort genres.

I love this website, and I hope to use these baskets in my classroom!

I would let the students pick the color that they want for their group. That way they could learn the colors as well as take ownership for it. I feel if i let them pick it out then they would take care of the basket. These could also be used to store the students supplies for each group. They could be used for Literacy Groups as well as Math centers. These would be a wonderful addition to have in the classroom!!!!

I have my own classroom for the first time and I am still trying to get
everything organized and these baskets would be great for helping
me get my classroom in order.
Thanks

I already use some of these boxes to organize my leveled readers in my first grade classroom. However, I still need more for my theme books. These would be just the thing! Love them!

I would use them in my guided reading groups. Each group would have a different color, and after I meet with my group they would go off with the basket that holds whatever strategy cue cards we worked on, along with any materials/supplies they may need.

These bins could have multiple purposes: organize classroom library by genres, authors, etc. They could be use for tool bins for groups or different centers including guided reading. Really good stuff is really good stuff.

As a 2nd grade teacher, the baskets will be useful for any subject or just to keep supplies organized!

I use these in my kindergarten classroom to hold the leveled library books my students use for Read to Self time. I use the Daily 5 Concept and the variety of color available in these baskets has allowed my to have as many levels of books as I need. I put matching color dot stickers on the books. This makes it easy for the kids to shop for just the right books for their book boxes and then they can return them on their own to the correct box when they are ready for a change!

These would be great to organize manipulatives on my shelves! easy to store and you can color code them too.

One of my lower school teachers would love these and would put them to good use!

As a upcoming teacher they could be used to store book’s, extra supplies, art materials and just about anything to keep your room organized.

Colored baskets would be wonderful in my library to designate AR book levels for students to select books according to their ZPD. It would make it easier for students to return the books to the correct colored coded basket.

A tisket, a tasket, I love lots of baskets!!! I use baskets all the time and not only for organizing my classroom library. My math workshop stations are all in baskets as well as mostly everything in my room. I can always use baskets especially this year. My 6th year of teacher and I guess the plastic is dry rotting or something. I’ve had so many broken baskets I’ve had to throw away this year.

I think these baskets are great for small group activities. They are color-coded so you can get their books ready along with any supplies they need for the upcoming activity. Plus, they are stackable, so putting them away at the end of the year doesn’t take up too much space!

I am a special education teacher who is needing to expand my classroom due to the fact that I will also be working with students in the RTI process next year for reading, which means more books for my kids to access! We all know how important it is to have a classroom library that is organized and keeps the kids interested so these baskets would definitely help me out!! I currently have borrowed about 5 baskets from other teachers but I hate to keep asking others to give up their personal items (which they most likely paid for themselves, we know how our classroom budgets are these days) so anything free is REALLY appreciated!! I am a third year teacher as well so having new items for once instead of hand-me-downs would be lovely. Hope to be picked!! THANKS!!! Love your stuff!!

I have some for organizing my class library, but they also make great table caddies for art supplies.

I would use these to put leveled books in to sit around the reading rug. Next year our students will no longer use BookBoxes to put their leveled books in for Reading. I plan to use baskets like these to put leveled books in and the students can just go to a leveled basket on the rug to find a book of their choice for Reading that day. The colorful labels and the vibrant-colored baskets would make the leveled baskets stand out so student could find their level quickly.

I would use them to hold station work for reading.
Commented On May 6th, 2012 8:49 pm
I think these baskets would be great for holding items needed for centers. Then at the end of center time you would just have the children put the baskets back in their home spot for the next day.

I need these to organize my students’ learning notebooks. I teach 150 students so that means 150 notebooks that have to stay in my classroom.

I use these in my classroom for a variety of things. The most important is to organize the mountains of books I have! I also use them as catch-alls for the days when I just need to see my desktop! They are also useful for helping students clean out their desks.

First of all, I love baskets!! I use them to organize everything in my classroom. Having the different colors help to organize my reading groups. My students know their group’s color and can easily go to the counter, get their basket and get right to work. I love how your products help my classroom stay organized, tidy, and efficient!!
