Dealing with Parents

Each day, during the week of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, our school invites parents to visit as guest readers to read aloud from Dr. Seuss books.*
To welcome parents to our classrooms we hold a Dr. Seuss door decorating contest. Each class develops its own door design. We also listen to a Dr. Seuss quote each day. During our AM announcements, our principal reads a quote from a Dr. Seuss book. The first student who can identify the story containing the quote wins a Dr. Seuss book!
