Permanent Student Work Display Made Easy
|
Idea by June, 1st Grade Teacher, Prattville, AL Here’s an easy way I’ve found to display children’s artwork. For each child, I select a 12” x 18” piece of construction paper. I then use rubber cement to adhere a clear plastic sheet protector (with the binder rings cut off) to each paper. I attach a nameplate at the bottom of each paper and tack the papers to a bulletin board or display strip. The sheet protectors allow me to slip student work in and out of the plastic sleeve as needed. Sure does make changing up a breeze!

I love this idea! It sounds so simple. Displaying student work is one of my least favorite tasks, because it can be so time consuming, but this removes that factor.

Neat idea. You could use this also as a mailbox idea, putting papers in for students to take home with them.

This is a great idea. I teach first grade also and the worst part of putting up student work is how long it takes to put it up. I am definitely going to try this.

Using the sheet protectors to display student work is a great idea. It will also protect student work as well.

I love this idea. Organizing is key now that teaching is even more of a secretarial job in addition to everything else we do! This sounds like a great way to keep organized and save time too!
