Student-Designed Displays

Idea by Cara, a 6th Grade Teacher, from Lincoln University, PA.

When decorating my Back-to-School bulletin boards, I leave one board for the students to decorate all by themselves.  I provide students with backing paper and sentence strips so they might create a student-designed background and border. Sometimes I also suggest a theme, such as “Rules to Live By.”
