Taming the Paper Monster

I ditched bulletin board paper! Instead, I bought a couple of colors of pretty fabric to use as my bulletin board backings. Not only does it save trees, but it’s easier to work with than paper. At the end of the year, I just take the fabric down, throw it in the washer and dryer and reuse it next year. Washing and drying the fabric virtually “erases” the holes left from staples or tacks and the fabric itself makes creating and maintaining attractive bulletin board displays fun and easy.

I purchase felt from a fabric store by the yard and use it as the backing to my bulletin boards. It is going on the 6main th year and still looks great! No fading, no tearing just great color for years to come.
