Congratulations to Jana, the winner of last week’s Really Good Giveaway of the Write Again 6”x9” Magnetic Dry Erase Boards.  She commented on a blog article last week and her comment was randomly chosen as the winner.  This week you can enter the Weekly Giveaway by commenting on any Teachers’ Lounge blog article before 5pm EST on Friday, July 13th.

This week’s giveaway prize is a set of Regrouping Mats and Manipulatives that are perfect for small group or learning center math activities.  The set features four Write Again wipe-off laminated mats that measure 13” by 12” each.  216 1” chips and a Really Good Stuff Activity Guide accompany the mats for fun, hands-on regrouping practice.  Enter to win as often as you would like by commenting on different articles.  The more articles you comment on, the better your odds of winning.  One random winner will be announced on Sunday, July 15th.  Good luck!

The Show Us Your Summer with the Really Good Stuff Kids Contest is also going on for a chance to win a $25 Really Good Stuff gift certificate!

Week 2’s Challenge:  Show us Reese and Rosely hanging out at home (or if you’re on vacation this week, show them with you).

Upload your picture here and be entered into this week’s drawing for a $25 Really Good Stuff gift certificate.  Read the complete contest rules and regulations here.  Follow us on Instagram @ReallyGoodStuff to see all of the week’s photos!

Don’t forget to join us for #TeachChat on Wednesday, July 11th at 9pm EST/8pm CST on Twitter.  It’s a great hour of fun, professional development, and giveaways.  Learn more about how to join in on the fun and check out the calendar of upcoming chats here.  This week we’ll be exploring the Home-School Connection in conjunction with the theme for this week’s Teaching Bootcamp articles.  Hope to see you there!

Have a great week!

This is the perfect way to introduce larger numbers to kinders. But it is the perfect tool to use to show how addition works and subtraction regrouping works. Borrowing becomes very clear using this. Pat Mack

What a great product! I can see this being used at a math station in so many different ways.
