Prop and Park is a great idea! Because I teach Math and Science to all of the 5th graders at my school it would make it easier to have a name plate at each seat for each class. I definately need to get these.

I wish I could think of something right now. Those ideas only come when I am in need of the items. I think it is great you are open to other teacher’s ideas.

You can really tell that RGS works to please teachers. Some products are one of a kind but solve the problems that exist in every classroom just like the Desktop Prop and Park.

I would LOVE to have these in my third grade classroom. I believe it would give on level students the confidence they need to push themselves a little farther. (They like to think of ways to use _resources like this ad often as possible, and share it with others. ) They will be reading, applying, and sharing with others. Low students would have visuals to assist them, and above level students would challenge themselves to find more about the topic than just what is on the card! They could also be nrought to small group instruction. These would be a wonderful resource in my room!

I know where I’m going if I have a good idea that will make teaching easier! Lately, its just been putting more responsibility on my students now that we are getting closer to the end of the year.

These Desktop Prop and Parks seem like they would work really well in my classroom. I teach in a Resource room so I have kids come and go throughout the day. It would be nice to be able to switch out the names so my kids would have their names on their desks for each group I take.
I LOVE how RGS is asking real teachers for ideas of what would make their day to day lives easier in the classroom. Not many people seem to take into consideration what we as teachers need.
I love your products. Keep up the great work!

The desktop prop and park is a great idea. I wonder if my inner city first graders could not loose them. They loose everything else. It might be a great way of helping them be organized. Thanks for the idea.

You don’t know what you’ll need until you need it. That’s why I have a hard time throwing things away. I never know when I can reuse an item for something else. Multi-shaped boxes have been wrapped in color wraping paper and are now containers in my room. Holiday cups that have been giving to me by students are now pencil, scissor and crayon cups in the room. I’ve even converted an old science fair board into a puppet stage.

Teacher’s Lounge is the best because they actually listen to their customers!!!

I will definitely have to start thinking of some ideas that haven’t already been thought of (which is really hard with all of us creative teachers!)
I do love the Prop and Park because in my Kindergarten class, we switch students twice a day. This would make it so easy on subs to see the names because you could have a name plate for all of the students, instead of just the homeroom students as we have right now.

I would love to have a set of these….tons of ideas are already racing around in my head….you could create a card for each student to use in this prop for so many different things…cursive, multiplication, you could make a set of journal prompts and put them out each morning and then switch them up everyday…you could create a Problem of the Day card and switch those up…I can already think of so many different things to do with these to get kids motivated!

Being a new teacher this year, I have had to come up with creative ideas for things in the classroom. I have cereal boxed cut and covered for book holders. I have used shoe boxes as props to build height in my showcase. These would be wonderful for containing the pencils that keep falling off of desks and will help with easier transitions between subjects because they will not be looking for lost items.

This would be great for my classroom! I will have to check out the page to submit other ideas. I love how RGS listens to teachers and always has items that are relevant to our everyday needs!
