Hello – As a non-profit, Christian center I look for items that are fairly inexpensive and durable. These are by far the best bins I’ve seen. Hope I win as we could really use the bins.

I love organization. I use baskets like these for books, pencils, etc. My favorite organizational idea has been one medium basket that I put in the middle of 4 desks. I fill it with pencils, red pens, math journals, index cards for note taking, and a calculator for each student. It helps my students be more prepared with their supplies right at their fingertips. Time management at its simplest.

I use these baskets for “mailboxes” for our friendly letters to each other in the 4th grade class. We chose “secret pen pals” within the 4th grade classes and wrote letters following the friendly letter format. Each student was assigned a secret code instead of their name. Students used the codes instead of names for the greetings, closings, and addresses on envelopes for their letters. For “stamps” we used square stickers such as Easter Seals, and other small stickers. I will serve as the “mail carrier” to deliver the mail to students in each class. Should be a fun project!
