|
This week we’re asking our Facebook friends to vote again on the item they’d like to see as the Weekly Giveaway. The choices are:
2. Concept Map Journals – Keep those graphic organizers all in one place with the Concept Map Journals. This set of journals allows students to map a concept with examples, non-examples, connections, questions, related words, and images.
3. Rhyme Time Lotto Literacy Center – Recognize and reinforce rhyming words using picture cues with this great small group literacy center. Perfect for Grades K-1 and ESL/ELL students.
Leave a comment on the Facebook post on the Really Good Stuff page letting us know which one you would like to see as the giveaway. Votes are due by 3pm EST on Sunday, October 28th, 2012.
After a giveaway prize has been selected, you can enter to win by commenting on any Teachers’ Lounge blog post before 3pm EST on Friday, November 2nd, 2012. One random winner will be selected from all valid comments and announced on Sunday, November 4th. Good luck! |

Great idea. I especially like the fact that it is magnetic so I don’t have to find a wall for it. My filing cabinet is just wasted space waiting for a use!

The Rhyme Time Lotto Literacy Center seems like it would be perfect for my Kindergarten class. I truly believe that recognizing rhymes is the most fundamental skill students need in order to learn to read. I use Literacy Centers every day to provide as many meaningful, hands-on, individually appropriate activities as possible.

I love the Paper Pal Pocket Chart. If I were selected to win it, I would use it to help students store their papers after going to my literacy work stations. Currently, I use a clipboard in the station box, but often the unfinished work, finished work, and blank papers get mixed up. This great magnetic chart could help us keep our things organized. I hope I win!!!

I think the paper pal should be the item of the week. Every teacher needs a little help organizing every once in awhile. Or at least I do!
This is my first time entering. Would love to win something!

I would LOVE the concept map journal! I am a first year teacher in a very low socio-economic school in Arkansas and this concept map journal would help me implement fun common core activities to ensure interest in literacy! I’m always in need of resources so this would be fab!
