34 Must Have Products for Students with Special Needs

Inclusive Classrooms

Between 1989 and 2013, the percentage of students with disabilities who were in a general education class for 80 percent or more of the school day increased from about 32 percent to nearly 62 percent. Many schools have inclusion classrooms. The Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA) says that students who receive special education services should learn in the “least restrictive environment.” This means that they should spend as much time as possible with students who don’t receive special education services.

Really Good Stuff Introduces a Special Needs Line

At Really Good Stuff we care about your students. We recognize that all students learn differently and come to school with individual needs and strengths.  Really Good Stuff has just launched a new special needs line of products that offers a full array of tools and resources selected and developed by teachers to help support students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and struggling learners.  Our engaging products develop specific skills, are inclusive and accessible to students of varying ability levels, relate to students’ everyday lives, and contribute to a learning environment where students thrive.
