How wonderful would it be if your incoming students this fall had already mastered most, if not all, of their grade level sight words? Think of the things you could focus on instead! Before you say goodbye to your students for the summer, print out the Dolch Sight Word list below for the grade they are going into.
Dolch Sight Words
Be sure to let their next teacher know so that she can make a fuss about rewarding them for practicing and memorizing their words this summer. Ask the teachers in the grade below yours to print out the appropriate lists for your incoming students and send it home with them. Let your soon-to-be students know that you are excited about seeing how many words they can memorize this summer. It is a great way to start next year off on the right foot.
