5 Spring Cleaning Checklists with Free Printables

Ah, March….the promise of Spring is in the air and it’s the perfect time to start thinking about all of those seasonal rituals that fill the weekends.  Rituals like, well, Spring Cleaning.  Instead of thinking of it as a chore that must be done, think of it as a time to reawaken your house, breathe fresh life into your decor, and declutter after the cold winter months.  Depending on how much you want to do, there is a Spring Cleaning checklist just for you.

Spring Cleaning Guides

The Mother-of-All Spring Cleaning Lists

Ashley from Lil Blue Boo was not joking around when she compiled this intensive list of spring cleaning activities.  Everything from checking the attic roof for leaks to changing the carbon monoxide detector batteries is included.

Martha Stewart’s Spring Cleaning Checklist

Spruce up your home the Martha way with a detailed checklist, room by room guide, and tips for patching a screen and cleaning windows.

Color Coordinated Spring Cleaning List

If a color-coordinated Spring Cleaning checklist with everything you can think of is what you’re looking for, the lists by Heidi at Honeybear Lane are just for you.  These detailed lists are not only practical, but they’re colorful which helps make cleaning less of a chore and more of a….well, “joy” is going a little far, but these lists do make it tolerable!

Spring Cleaning Tips

Debbie at Debbiedoo’s offers her checklist of Spring Cleaning must-do’s.  Although not as detailed as the other lists we have mentioned, this is a great starting point.  She mentions cleaning out your garbage cans too….disgusting, but necessary!

Spring Cleaning the Soul

We would be remiss not to mention that Spring is a great time to give yourself a good dusting off and clean out the cobwebs from tired, winter thinking.  Jessika at Oh My! Handmade Goodness created a Spring Cleaning Door Hanger Printable and Help Checklist that encourages you to take care of yourself this Spring, as well as your home.
