What colors are you planning on using in your classroom? Do you always use the same ones or do you switch it up every year?

The accent color in my room is green so I went with grey and purple with owls. I am thinking of adding Woodland Friends this year.

I love that idea, Megan! Your room will be a cozy forest by the time you’re done! =) SO happy to see you, by the way! =)

I love using turquoise and black. I’ve found it to be a good mix for boys and girls.

I have an owl theme with a mix of bright colors. Since I teach middle school language arts (6th grade), I color-code my classes. I have one color (blue, green, red, yellow) assigned to baskets, bins and name plates for each of my four classes. It makes organization, turning in papers, and seating charts much easier.

My room is grey with lime green and bright blue accents. I use stars and bright colors in my decor. I usually change up one or two areas of my room each year. This year I’m using emoji’s.

Last year I used way too many colors- kind of like a rainbow theme but non intentional! This year I am going for neon- green and orange mainly.

I am adding to my teal & black with the chalkboard brights decor. I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. I change my theme decor about every 4-5 years.

I have a Hollywood theme, colors are mainly red, black and white. My favorite color is purple though, so there are hints of purple. 🙂

I am moving to a 5th grade science lab that has black countertops and black tables. I’m going to make it the mad scientist lab with lime green and some pink for the girls.

A lot of my school issued furniture is blue so I’m thinking a navy, white and lime striped/nautical theme. They were supposed to paint the walls over the summer so we’ll see if that changes things.
